Stay in one area just a little too long and you can wind up surrounded. And since they try to get close they'll bodyblock you a lot. If you bump into one you cant just blast him instantly so hes probably gonna hit you unless you pull up the shield or chainsaw him. Their shotgun damage on nightmare is BRUTAL (130 at point blank) and since they respawn they're an ever present threat. But lots of respawning shield guys definitely turn up the heat. Not one or two shield guy you see ahead of time of course. Shield guys are literally the most dangerous enemy in the game imo. in the master levels its often 4-5 that spawn in and you gotta kill all of them as fast as humanly possible so you dont get chomped for all your armor and then 3/4 of your health while fighting something else. And its pretty much never just one that spawns. but On Nightmare their bite does 150 damage, and their balls do uhhh i wanna say 80? So if you lose track of just one its gonna become a serious problem. Although, tyrants tracking ground wave attack can be pretty annoying.Ĭacos are one of the deadliest demons imo. Same with tyrants basically minus the leaping. Theyve got a lot of health and do quite a bit of damage and they can leap pretty far. Once you understand the falter system and are good at dealing a lot of damage quickly you can absolutely destroy them while theyre stunlocked and helpless.īut they are pretty tough before you get to that point. They're fairly slow, predictable, and a huge target so its easy to hit them with PB + rocket Like im not gonna go through the whole list but heres a few that stick out to me:īarons are one of the easiest demons imo, as long as you have a chance to focus on them. This is really interesting to me because its different from how I'd rank them but there was probably a time my ranking would've been more similar.
